Look Up Art Festival 2023

At the Look Up Art festival, the pictures speak for themselves, it’s great to be back in the UK with the team!

Nashville USA

Dog park 2023

A dream project in downtown Nashville painting a dog park through every weather condition imaginable. Working in Wellington boots was definitely a first.

Chelmsford Essex
UK

2022

This was the town we grew up in so we were proud to make this mural in the main high street for ‘Concrete Canvas’ mural festival 2022.

The painting features landmarks and significant buildings from the city all fictitiously put together in Bobs landscape

Miami USA

Surfside 2022

You couldn’t ask for a better painting location with a 360 view of south beach, a pool to cool off in, a fully stocked fridge and two dogs who also joined in the swimming.

Alcantarilla
Murcia Spain

2022

This huge wall in Alcantarilla, a town near Murcia in Spain, was on the side of a sports hall, and added colour and characters to an already buoyant square of children’s playgrounds, outdoor cafes and simple gardens.

Almere
The Netherlands

Kunstlinie 2022

Always nice to be invited into a museum show. We had a great space facing the water at the back of the building amongst many other artists from Amsterdam and beyond.

Cincinnati USA

Blink Festival 2019

Having helped handpick a lot of the 2019 line up it was all ‘work hard - play hard’ with friends and Cincinnati family all week. Brilliant festival which included project mapping and light shows.

Camp North End Charlotte USA

2019

We made two murals on the side of a huge building that used to manufacture automobiles. Part of a big project to transform Camp North End into a haven for art murals, shops, cafes and restaurants. Incredible week meeting all the local artists working there.

Amsterdam
The Netherlands

Zeeburgerdijk 2018

We started this mural so late in the year that winter kicked in and we had to postpone finishing it until the following Spring.

This incredible spot can be seen from the train between Amsterdam Central and Amsterdam Muiderpoort in the east of the city.

The wall was a testament to the curator ‘Coen’, who sadly passed away a year after completion. RIP sir. Gone but not forgotten.

Rom Skatepark
UK

2018

It was amazing to give something back to the skatepark we had so much fun in when we were in our younger skating days living in Essex. The park was badly in need of some fresh feeling and financial help so we made this mural and all proceeds from the print we made are set aside for further artistic developments.

Student Hotel Florence Italy

A crazy job painting in the middle of a construction site for this new hotel in beautiful Firenze. The place was in complete chaos as we fought for time and space to create several pieces throughout the building.

2018

Dortmund
Germany

2017

This colourful 5 storey piece was commissioned through the ‘44309 gallery’ nearby and stands prominently in the centre of Dortmund

Berlin
Germany

Urban Nation mural 2016

Our biggest ever mural sits in Tegel, Berlin and can be seen by plane when landing or taking off from the nearby airport. This 44m 14 storey piece saw us working at fearful heights and took 20 days to complete.

Colorado Crush Fest Denver USA

2017

With lots of new murals going up in the Rhino Arts district we painted a long wall in the heart of the area. Buckley was our assistant for this job and was used as the main character swimming in an underwater scene.

Puebla Mexico

2017

Once again we found ourselves working in a construction zone before it would become a shopping mall. We played lunchtime 5-a-side football with the Mexican workers and tequila flowed day and night.

Covington Kentucky
USA

2016

This mural was very close to our hearts as it features our dear friend ‘Mike Amman’ (seen inside the dog spaceship) who originally brought us to the city years earlier but tragically passed in 2013. We collaborated with ‘Urban Blooms’ Cincinnati to create a living wall of plants and vegetation within the piece. You can find the piece at 4th/Scott in Covington, KY.

Dubai UAE

2016

We had some friendly visitors here, one of them a cat that we even taken care of during our mural and finally decided to adopt and took home with us!

Painting in the searing heat was a big task at The City Walk shopping Mall in Dubai where many murals are situated. Not only did we complete this mural without melting but we met a street cat called Bazza and adopted him.

Bazza is now 8 years old, lives with Bob in Amsterdam and regularly eats plastic costing Bob consistent small fortunes in vet bills.

Coney Island
New York
USA

2016

Jeffrey Deitch brought us to the iconic site of Coney Island where we made an ocean based underwater mural including characters from the film ‘The Warriors’……

’You Warriors are good…..real good!’

’The best!’!!

Miami USA

Tribute wall to Hernando and Ray 2016

We were stoked to get this opportunity during Art Basel to pay tribute to two fallen brothers who we lost that year. RIP Ray and RIP Hernando ❤️.

Wynwood Walls
Miami USA

2015

We had painted for several years in the Wynwood district of Miami starting in 2007. Each year it got bigger and better until its explosion. Then one year we got the nod from Goldman Global arts to be part of the Wynwood Walls alongside other fantastic esteemed artists and, regardless of record rainfall that year and Bob being an unprecedented magnet for mosquitos we completed our piece for the Wynwood Walls in December 2015

Miami Dolphins Sun Life Stadium USA

2015

We were ecstatic to be chosen to paint inside the Miami Dolphins football stadium. We named this piece ‘The touch-down’ as it mirrors the hands touching scene from Leonardo da Vinci’s famous Sistine Chapel painting.

We used colours, numbers and iconography of the football team and included portraits of Jessica Goldman and Sarah Sperling from Goldman Global Arts who curated the project.

Basel
Switzerland

2015

Thanks to our multitalented artist friend BUST we were commissioned to make this mural for Art Basel Switzerland featuring Swiss actress and model Zoe Scarlett.

Aalborg Denmark

2015

Curated by Lars and Mads we were brought to the city of Aalborg in Denmark to decorate the side of ‘Café Ulla Terkelsen’ near the centre.

There’s nothing like painting the side of one of the best bars in town to distract you from work and get hammered all day!

Lima Peru

2015

A couple of incredible weeks in Perus capital painting at English schools which were generally in poor areas of the city. Hellish car journeys to and from these neighbourhoods bookended fun days making murals with local artist ‘Xomatok’

Hollywood Florida USA

2014

We always try to project a positive theme in our pieces. Our signature characters have happy faces and are depicted doing everyday things in the world they live in.

In this particular piece one of our characters is making adjustments to the aquarium he is looking after. As this mural is near the sea we threaded an aquatic theme with science and nature with an overall moral of looking after each other."

Wynwood Miami USA

2014

Our good friend David Lombardi gave us our first breaks back in the day when Wynwood was still growing. Now of course it is the mural capital of Miami.

This was the outside of his office and gave us the opportunity to show our work which led to more

commissions in the following years, most notably The Wynwood Walls. This piece is long gone like most of the street as the neighbourhood continues to grow.

Miami USA

Villa Bagatelle Miami Beach 2014

The London Police were commissioned to paint a large-scale mural at Villa Bagatelle Miami Beach during the Art Basel Miami art fair

There aren’t many painting spots better than a five star hotel rooftop with a swimming pool in Miami.

This mural could be seen all down Collins Avenue and panoramically from all the other hotels around. Sadly, it is now gone as whoever owns the Hotel decided a blank grey wall was a more enjoyable option for their five star guests.

Boras Sweden

2014

Enjoying sunshine and making art, Boras is one to remember

We were invited to Boras, Sweden just outside Gothenburg for NO LIMIT festival by our artist friend Shai Dahan. Located on the side of a university building we made a Barberella space-themed wall to add to the many large scale murals in the town.

Brussels Belgium

Private project 2014

This was a very testing mural for a private collector in Belgium going from an outside driveway into a spacious car garage complete with giant fish tank.

The client may or may have not been good old Jean Claude Van Damme.

Wynwood
Miami
USA

2013

A great time in the heart of Wynwood before the high rise buildings took over. We met the amazing photographer Soren Solkaer who hired police uniforms for a photo shoot. Two years later the venue of this piece was already a block of flats.

Oslo Norway

2011

Located at Bygdøy allé 1, this wall was part of the T&J art walk project featuring several world artists all around Oslo.

At the time Bob was painting his minions/spacemen without helmets revealing us to be the characters joining the Lads in this scene.

Amsterdam
The Netherlands

Prinsengracht 2009

This mural was scheduled to be removed because of insufficient approval from the city of Amsterdam. However, the people of the neighbourhood, with help from local tv station AT5, helped petition for it to remain. Soon after it became part of a UNESCO-protected world heritage site and now cannot be removed! It now also features in our SUYE - created metaverse!

Maybe the cities favorite

Miami USA

2010

This piece depicting the classic TLP conveyer belt idea of bobs robots making chazs lads took one week to paint. Tragically the building was sold within two months and they whitewashed the mural before anyone really got a chance to see it. Fortunately via the gift of cameras we got good photos and a Timelapse of the whole thing

Berlin Germany

Playground 2006

Before Bob rejoined TLP, Chaz was invited through the Backjumps organisation to come and paint in Kreuzberg for their annual festival. It marked the beginning of an era of bigger murals and survived until 2020 on Wranglerstrasse 62.
