Jimi Hendrix Hand Embellished

Jimi Hendrix is one of our favourite guitarists and a few years ago we decided to make a painting honouring that.

We felt that this was a great image to make a hand embellished print with lots of vibrant colour accentuating that very purple haze that Jimmy sang about.

Krijger Vormgave print studio in Amsterdam collaborate with us to make sexy fades and sumptuous TLP logos before the team goes all Jackson Pollock with the hand embellished backgrounds to create the finished background for Maurits the printer to do his stuff.

More importantly the print studio is down the road from BOER GEERT a typically Dutch sandwich shop with the quality of sandwiches so good that if it were an MMA fighter it would be roundhousing McDonalds in the face and karate chopping Burger King in the windpipe. It’s been said that we only actually make prints so we can go to BOER GEERT for lunch but maybe everyone should calm down yeah and not believe everything you hear.

Anyway, Very limited edition Hand embellished prints are a good price if you can’t afford the originals but want something more than the small simple prints with one or two colours. Hopefully there’s a price point for everyone who wants to have some London Police artwork.
