Hi Bob here... just an update from the studio. We are all getting back into the daily routine as many of us were traveling over the last month. School holidays etc etc. Over the past period, we’ve been working on some really ambitious paintings. It’s something that we love to work on and keeps us busy most of the time at the studio. We’ve made two massive 2x2 meter canvases back to back, allowing us to incorporate all of our creativity onto the surface. With this huge format the canvas almost like a portal that you can step into.
The latest paintings are inspired by 80s childhood moments, including architectural details, as many of you know is my personal passion.
Our larger paintings only come in upon request. Lately, we have received some amazing requests where we painted buildings, favorite characters, or, on exceptional occasions, a loved one from the client themselves. Don’t get us wrong; we are conducting the orchestra of creativity, but we certainly considering the client's wishes. That’s the business side of art but also a chance to honor someone or something they love.
The last two paintings were based on personal requests, and I’m only able to share one with you, as we do respect privacy in the works that we are doing for our clients.
We will update our website with a fine art "Paintings" section. So SUYE will be pretty busy gathering and making things smooth for all to enjoy. Last week, we had studio sessions with Chin, Chaz, and occasionally SUYE, updating us on the digital side of things and keeping the TLP family flow going. Radiohead's "OK Computer", and some 80s classics are playing loudly in the background.
The sun is out there, trying to pull us outside towards inspiration and bike rides.
In the meantime, we are preparing for the Portsmouth's Look Up Art Festival and getting our sketches ready while some of the team started to prepare main wall.
The digital collectible NFT release is taking shape, and coming week we will finalize the designs for its end-of-year release. Some of you already been lucky finding our little whitelist giveaway cards!
Soon we will open up the Digital collectables whitelist for the website, with more explanation on our release, so keep an eye out and make sure you sign up for our newsletter!
